Alberta School of Ballet / Color
Here is the first of two posts from another project I worked on with Deluxe Design Group for Enbridge documenting the year end performance of the School of Alberta Ballet.
We had the privilege of going behind the scenes for warm up, practice
and rehearsals before the big event. We also visited the school to
capture a day in the life of the students. Check back tomorrow for more from this project!

Johnny Active
It's really cool when you meet someone and click right away and that is how I felt with Grady. He is a young, driven and talented guy. He's also willing to do anything to get the shot even if it nearly kills him. Like when he was in the pool and I made him stay under water for long periods of time. Grady lives in Calgary, but is going to school in Toronto, so I am looking forward to working with him on this side of the country too! Grady a.k.a Johnny Active just released a new track and you can check it out HERE.

Mitchell Family
If you can't tell by the photos the Mitchell family is a riot. I would probably call them a funily instead of family. I can still remember the soreness I felt in my cheeks from laughing and smiling so much. I can only hope to be as great and loving of parents as The Mitchell's and pray for our children to be as great as theirs when they grow up. Thanks friends!

Nature Conservancy Canada: Alberta Ranch
Back in the spring I partnered with Deluxe Design Group for a couple projects they were shooting for Enbridge. They are a great group of guys and I had a blast working with them. For this job we heading down to Pincher Creek to document the beauty of Alberta Ranch owned by Cheryl and Steve Maunsell who donated a portion of the conservation easement. It was a real privilege to be apart of this project. I highly recommend reading the article in the link below that talks about all the time, money and effort donated by Enbridge, NCC, Steve and Cheryl. It is also interesting to read about the historical and environmental significance of this land and it's conservation.
