Since I moved to Calgary in 2007 Alyssa and I have been going to the Calgary Folk Music Festival along with family and friends. Last year I went photo crazy at the Folkfest and posted a lot on Facebook. You can see them here and here. This time around I made a video to give you a tiny glance into our time at Folkfest this year. Some of our highlights came from acts we knew of and were anticipating like Stars, The Avett Brothers, The Swell Season, Michael Franti, and St. Vincent, but like every year there were artists we didn't know of that really made it special such as Man Man, Dan Mangan, Dj Logic, and Honeybear. Definitely check them out and seriously consider coming out next year. The song from the video is 'Actor Out Of Work' by the super talented St. Vincent. Check out the video HERE.
